The Deputy Minister of Transport, Hon. Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover(MP) has engaged stakeholders on the construction of a fish landing sites in Efutu on Friday, May 15, 2020.

He expressed gratitude to His Excellency the President on his efforts in securing a facility for the construction of 10 fish landing Sites in the country, of which 6 are located in the Central Region.

The Central Regional Minister, Hon. Kwamena Duncan indicated that a sod had been cut by former President Kuffuor several years ago however, work will soon begin and that the services of local artisans would be needed when work began.

Hon, Alex Afenyo Markin, Member of Parliament for Efutu entreated the Consultant of the Project to work closely with the Efutu District Assembly in order to ensure work is completed in good time. 

Present at the event were Director, PPME Mrs. Irene Messibah, Ing. Mavis Allotey, GPHA as well some staff of the Ministry.
