The Deputy Minister for Transport, Hon. Dorcas Affo-Toffey, today held a meeting with a delegation from the Ghana Chamber of Shippers at the Ministry.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the Chamber's upcoming stakeholder forum, themed "Streamlining Ghana’s Maritime Transport and Logistics Sector for Transparency, Efficiency, and Competitiveness".
Recognising the Ministry's crucial role in providing policy direction and oversight for these sectors, the Chamber emphasised that the Ministry's engagement is vital for the initiative's success. The forum's objectives are, among other things, to foster policy clarity and create sector-wide awareness.
Hon. Affo-Toffey received the delegation warmly and assured them of the Ministry's earnest support and full collaboration.
