Hon. Dorcas Affo-Toffey, on Monday, August 4, 2025, officially assumed office as the Deputy Minister for Transport, marking the beginning of her tenure with a significant national event in the aviation sector.
On her first day in office, Hon. Toffey joined the Minister for Transport, Hon. Joseph Bukari Nikpe, to participate in the launch of the Air Navigation Services and Application Programming Interface (API) systems. The event, held under the auspices of the President of the Republic, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, represents a bold and strategic step toward the modernisation of Ghana’s aviation industry.
The Minister expressed her enthusiasm and readiness to serve, since the occasion was a fitting start to her new role.
The Air Navigation Services and API systems are expected to enhance flight safety, improve operational efficiency, and position Ghana as a competitive aviation hub in the subregion.
