TRANSPORT AND TRADE MINISTRIES DRAW1-1 IN SPIRITED INTER MINISTERIAL CLASH

Spectators at the on-going Civil Service Inter-Ministerial Games witnessed a captivating performance as the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry played to an exciting 1-1 draw. The fiercely contested football match showed impressive skill, strong teamwork, and great sportsmanship from both ministries.

The stadium buzzed with strong support from staff of both ministries, who turned out in large numbers to cheer on their teams. Though both sides aimed for a win, the Ministry of Transport struck first, netting the opening goal in the first half.

However, the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry remained undeterred. They launched a strong comeback, equalizing early in the second half and sending their supporters into a frenzy. The rest of the second half saw both teams create chances, but robust defence and outstanding goalkeeping from both sides ensured the deadlock remained unbroken.

Adding to the electrifying atmosphere, the Chief Director and Directors of the Ministry of Transport were present in the stands, offering a significant morale boost to their players. Their attendance underscored the importance of unity and collaboration within Civil Service institutions.

The Civil Service Inter-Ministerial Games continue to be a vital initiative, successfully promoting teamwork, wellness, and inter-agency collaboration among public sector workers. As the tournament gains momentum towards the finals, both the Transport and Trade teams are now setting their sights on their upcoming matches.
