MINISTER HAILS EMIRATES' NEW ACCRA RETAIL SHOP

The Minister of Transport, Hon. Joseph Bukari Nikpe, has described Emirates Airline's newly opened retail outlet in located in the Stanbic Heights building in Accra as directly aligning with President John Dramini Mahama’s vision to establish Ghana as a pivotal aviation hub and the gateway to Africa.

Speaking at the grand opening ceremony, Hon. Nikpe emphasized the significance of Emirates' commitment to the Ghanaian market and its role in supporting the nation's broader aviation goals.

"Emirates' decision to establish this modern and accessible retail space at a prestigious location like Stanbic Heights demonstrates their strong confidence in Ghana's potential, " he asserted.

According to him, "this initiative not only provides enhanced comfort and convenience for our citizens seeking to connect with the world but also contributes to the creation of valuable jobs within our aviation sector”.

He further highlighted the government's commitment to fostering a supportive environment for airlines to thrive, emphasizing the importance of partnerships in driving growth and creating employment opportunities for Ghanaians and commended Emirates for prioritizing the comfort and convenience of both its customers and its employees through this new facility.

The new retail shop at Stanbic Heights offers a conducive and welcoming environment for customers to explore Emirates extensive flight network and premium services. Located in a prime business district of Accra, the shop allows for easy access to flight bookings, ticketing services, travel advice, and enrolment in the Emirates Skywards frequent flyer program.
