Six institutions have submitted proposals for the development of the Boankra Inland Port Project on Friday, 19th October, 2018.

The firms are

Africa Rail Ghana Limited, Thames Engineering Ghana Limited and Messrs.Stockbridge Company Limited.

Others are APM Terminals Consortium, Afum Quality Limited and Aciusa Ghana Limited.

The Ministry of Transport has earlier requested for Proposals (RFP). Subsequently, representatives from the institutions presented Technical and Financial proposals which was opened and received by the Ministry.

Present were the Director for the Boankrah Project, Dr. Aaron Adade and the Transaction Advisor from PriceWaterhouseCoopers Limited, Mr Winfred King.

Based on the criteria for selection, the technical proposals from the institutions will be reviewed and the institutions that qualify would be invited for a meeting on the Financial Proposals.

It is recalled that a "Market Sounding" event for the project was held in Accra in December, 2017, which brought together potential investors from within the country and other parts of the world.
