Transport Minister Hon. Kweku Ofori Asiamah has joined Air Transport Ministers of the Ecowas sub-region to consider and adopt Expert Meeting Report and Resolutions on Air Transport Market on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.

During the online meeting, he indicated that Ghana has implemented all eight concrete measures expected from members who are party to the Yamoussoukro Decision as well as the single Africa Air Transport Market adopted by the Organisation of African Union (OAU) about 20 years ago.

Hon. Kweku Ofori Asiamah urged members states that are yet to sign the AU Solemn Commitment to implement the Single African Air Transport Market to do so as a matter of urgency.
"This deceleration when fully implemented could generate enormous  socio-economic benefit for the continent", he added
