These ceremonies, held at the Ministry’s Conference Room, underscore the government's commitment to enhancing safety and efficiency in Ghana's road transport sector.
During the DVLA Board inauguration, Minister Nikpe emphasised the Authority's critical role in public safety, vehicle roadworthiness, and driver competence.
He highlighted the DVLA’s expanded mandate under Act 569 of 1999, now encompassing safe driving standards and adaptation to emerging trends like electric and autonomous vehicles.
The Minister charged the new Board to modernize operations, embrace technological innovation, and align with global best practices.
